Beaconsfield Combined Services Lodge

On 18th June 2024, Beaconsfield Combined Services Lodge No. 1712 held an Emergency Meeting to Advance Dave Enright from Five Points Lodge No. 8197. Their 3rd Candidate in succession. They didn’t have a regular meeting during the March into Mark initiative so held the extra meeting to be part of this historic scheme. The Provincial Grand Master, Keith Bristow, took the chair with Brian Roake as Senior Deacon. Several other offices were filled by visitors due to the unavailability of some regular members. This shows the friendly nature of the Mark degree – that everyone is willing to help at the last minute. It has been a recent trend at Beaconsfield that new members propose a joiner or candidate and Dave was no exception, proposing his brother-in-law for Advancement. Dave thoroughly enjoyed the Ceremony and is looking forward to learning more about taking his fourth regular step in Freemasonry.
